Working fine with Vista Ultimate!
Pros: The version 8 isnt working with my new vista OS so I grab this app and give it a shot. Well it does an impressive job as it did when he is still on version 8. It has a nice interface, cool to the eyes. The major upgrade for this version is the vista compatibilty and its interface. Really great. All of its features is working great. This is a beta verion and i didnt find any bugs or errors with it. I like the fact that all of the infos from yahoo regarding with its new features is definitely working. It does what it says.
Cons: The graphics smiley for the offline user is not that nice to look at as my perception is concern. They can even design more sprite vivid smiley for offline users.
Yahoo Messenger
Bugs, and.. READ.
Pros: Pros. The pros are.. well, it's a brand new style. Well, that's about it.
Cons: Slow, complicated, the smileys are hideously ugly, and has some bugs.(Normal for BETAs). We all hope that the programmers will not change the old easy Yahoo way.
And please improve the smiley designs. They looked hideous.

Re:Older versions are better
Pros: Nothing.
Cons: Lots of bugs, considering this is a beta, and even when yahoo releases the official version of this, will it be better? Probably not. It's a shame yahoo doesn't ask their users what we want, instead of assuming what we want. I have used version 7.0 for the longest time, because I feel that is the most stable version, and who cares about talking to people on msn through yahoo? I have windows live messenger already. Trust me people, go to:oldversion.com, download and install 7.437, and you will see what I mean. As their site says, because sometimes newer is not always better.
Yahoo Messenger
The Best Messenger 4 Me
Pros: First Its Windows Live Messenger Then Yahoo Comes and Its Not Childish at all The Last Review by-0zSpit Is Totally Wrong.Yahoo 9.0 Beta Got Great Skins and Its Gives Probably The Best Clear Voice Conference Talk I Think It Beat Skype On Voice.. Just Try It
Yahoo Messenger
eh
Pros: Pros, I'll say pros here. Look, it's 9.0! That's the first pro. Next one is, CHANGEABLE SKINS!!! What else... Well that's all that comes to mind...
Cons: Cons, I'll tell you the cons. It's a bad interface. People are used to the simple interface. Until the Yahoo! Messenger team get that fixed, we'll never get used to it. My favorite con of them all. Yahoo!'s in-messenger chat system. I think Yahoo! Messenger should get their chat rooms fixed before unleashing another pathetic software that's packed of ads and easily hacked into. Trust me, I know. I lost over 20 gigs of files (music, videos, and pics.) over a hack from a chat room. Screw that!
All in all, I'd rather stick to my 8.1 and out of the chat rooms until the Vista version is fully out of beta, like in 2 more years.
